Kristin Goforth
Saddleseat Riding Instructor
Kristin Goforth graduated from Morehead State University in 2014 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Equine Science. During her time at MSU, she was an integral part of the university’s Intercollegiate Saddle Seat team, serving as the school’s open rider from her freshman year onward. Her passion for the Saddlebred industry grew through internships with top-tier trainers at Delovely Farm and Burnscroft Farm, where she gained invaluable hands-on experience.

After graduation, Kristin worked as an assistant trainer and manager at several premier American Saddlebred training and lesson facilities in central Kentucky. She later honed her expertise in equine care while working as a surgery technician at Rood and Riddle Equine Hospital, one of Lexington's top equine hospitals.

In 2018, Kristin founded Georgetown Riding Academy (GRA), where she has been able to combine her love of teaching and horsemanship. After five successful years in Kentucky, she relocated GRA to her home state of Tennessee in 2024, where she continues to offer top-quality Saddle Seat instruction. Kristin is passionate about sharing her years of experience with the next generation of riders and fostering a supportive environment where students can thrive.
